Welcome to TCN!

I’ve set up TennoClockNews.com in hopes to take more in-depth looks at various aspects of the game Warframe. Mostly the blog posts on here will feature information in regards to news about the game, editorials which analyze aspects of the game, and satire within The Forma. Mostly this is just a means of giving myself more control over the type of content I create relative to the limitations of a reddit post. You can also expect continued coverage of the Resource Cost Log, EHP Calculator, Warframe Release and Prime Log, as well as a few upcoming things I am overly optimistic I can put together in a reasonable time frame. There will be a few posts that launch with the site to give an idea of what to expect and I’ll give a few more examples right off the top:

For Editorials, I want to expand the reach from simply discussing gameplay to also cover other issues related to the game such as Market Prices, Account Security, Warframe’s Update Schedule, and maybe even tackle some concepts behind design such as what Progression and Completion are in Warframe. We’ll start with an Affinity overview, though.

For News I plan on doing a roundup to sync around the time of each Devstream. Maybe a Weekly Dev Post Roundup, and will make a new post to track every major update (and add hotfix information over time).

Satire is where my heart is at going into this, though. Expect a semi-recurring System Tenno bit which highlights the mundane and ridiculous experiences Warframe players go through every day. Add a dash of hyperbole and a pinch of cringe while cooking up a little bit about the 2035 situation. And if you don’t know what that is, stay tuned for the Editorials!

Warframe is unique in the sense that there is a constant stream of information and discussion with the developers. They’re active across their own official forums, the subreddit /r/warframe, and even on Twitter with news and discussion about the game. More importantly, the developers do actually engage in conversations with the community. I’m hoping that I can produce content that can stimulate conversation and ultimately serve to better the game.

Also, I’m still looking into putting together a LFG tool for Warframe. I don’t know how to code and the estimates I’ve gotten so far are way beyond my price range. I don’t want to even consider adding ads to this website yet. It might be necessary eventually, but right now this is all out of pocket with the goal of running a year at my own expense. That’s a problem for much, much later.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy. Welcome to Tenno Clock News!

p.s. If you have any suggestions on improving the layout of the site (I mean specifically because I am running around with duct tape here), feel free to contact me.

I can help out with some admin and theming stuff for free. Not a ton, just a little bit.

Looking forward to seeing where you take this, as I stated elsewhere. Just the dev post round-up is a tantalizing prospect for me, so I’ll be trying to follow this!

    Good luck, tgdm!
